Jacques Boulanger received a Bachelor in Fine Arts at Concordia University in Montreal. He then moved to New York City with nothing more than a backpack and soon became fascinated with the world of audio post-production. After an intense and accelerated education at Full Sail in Orlando, FL, Jacques returned to New York City. As the new digital technologies and engineering methodologies emerged, he quickly set himself apart as a pioneer and master in the field and climbed his way to the top of the industry.
Jacques is a consummate professional, and after 15 years and over 5000 audio post productions, he has established Creative Audio Post as one of NYC's most trusted audio post production facility.

and has acquired some of the best sound recordings equipment to date, including a Soundfield ST-450 ambisonic microphone for B-Format surround sound recording. He has personally trained under one of the world's most respected sound recording artist, Chris Watson (David Attenborough's wildlife documentaries location recordist) and has traveled to places near and far around the globe capturing sound for his sought after creative and unique soundtracks.
If not recording sounds in nature, Jacques also enjoys spending time sailing the Hudson on his beloved sailboat and spending time with his family.
